Objectives

[edit]

General goals

[edit]

Current priorities

[edit]
  • Tidy and improve exiting integer number articles, information which can be added and removed, as well as reorganized and converted into prose.
  • Methodically assign "importance" to integer number articles (top, high, mid, and low), following a systematic approach, still to be discussed.

Discussions regarding the involvement of the Project on mathematics topics not specific to integers such as constants, irrational numbers and algebraic numbers have yet to be initiated, including involvement on main topics about numbers, and their extensions.

Structure

[edit]

Articles after 10 are named, for the most part, N (number).

Navigation bars inside Number Infoboxes for number articles on integers have been added, with the following functionality:

Currently, there are continuous individual number articles for integers from −1 to 314 (number).

  • 300 (number) is the first article to specifically detail information for one hundred integers in one page.
  • From 300 (number) to 1000 (number), articles contain information for individual integers in ranges of hundreds.
  • From 1000 (number) to 10,000 (number), information is grouped in ranges of thousands.
  • From 10,000 to 100,000, articles cover information on integers in ranges of ten thousands.
  • From 100,000 through 1,000,000,000, articles are grouped in ranges of increments of powers of ten, 10x (up to 1,000,000,000).

There are also select article entries linked to individual articles within these ranges. Some articles are devoted to integers in ranges greater than 109.

Regarding the status of disambiguation pages,

The next disambiguation number page is 163 (disambiguation), linking to 163 (number) and other articles.
